He start with Canoeing in Poděbrady when he was 11 ears old.
A lot of succsess he gain even in category of youth where was nominated in representantion team of Czech rep. which participace in race of Olympic hopes. He represent his country in International race of youth in Račice Uhre in category K4 1000m gain bronz medal. In same category take a part in European championship of youth in Zagrep.
In category of adult he was first member of club TJ Lokomotiva Nymburk where he has been trained by Josef Fuksa. . Afterwards he race for Club Dukla Praha and USK Praha of which member is till present day.
Jiří Kraft is a specialist for short track 200m in K1 and in K2. He was very successful in this category and gain a lot of medals in National championship. From this reason he represent Czech rep. in top International races especialy in category K2 together with Branko Tarkulič.

He start with Canoeing in Hranice na Moravě when he was 6 yers old.
He gain first success in junior category and representant his country in many junior races . He participated 3 times in race of Olympic hopes where he gain medals for K4 200m and K4 200m.
In 2013 he participated in Junior Europian championchip where he nominated in category
K4 1000m for Junior Word championchip in Canada Where he took 4 th place closly behind
first three racers.
